What are the differences between the on-line and CD-ROM products?

Trade Tutor on CD-ROM is now identical in appearance and coverage to Trade Tutor: Banking
as offered online, e.g. it includes coverage of ISBP. This is the natural upgrade route for existing users
of Mantissa's old CD-ROM-based Trade Tutor who do not want to use the online version.

Trade Tutor on CD-ROM comes with a learning management system, but clearly it will not be possible
to view student data remotely using a web interface, as can be done with the on-line versions.

NB we no longer provide Mantissa Letters of Credit on CD-ROM. However any part of the
Trade Tutor Online portfolio can be provided on CD-ROM by arrangement.
How much time do students have in which to complete the courses?

Twelve weeks.
What support is available after students have completed the online courses?

Organisations who have bought any "Trade Tutor online product" will also have access to all the reference material that is included in the "toolkit" - key learning points for each unit, glossaries etc. - for a twelve-month period from the date of their most recent purchase.

For purchasers of any version of TeamBuilder online, we also provide a free ninety-page letters of credit workbook. This can be used as a study aid and reference document for staff who have completed the course. It can also serve as the basis for an organisation's own letters of credit practice manual.
Can we install Trade Tutor online on our corporate intranet?

Yes. Trade Tutor can be installed on all popular web servers. Email us for technical details

What about local area networks (LANs)?

The 'CD-ROM' versions (non-internet) can be installed on file servers and made available on the local area network. No Flash or other plug-in required.

We are using a learning management system? Can Trade Tutor online integrate with this?

Probably. For the technically-minded, we use a small subset of the SCORM 1.2 specification for communicating with modern learning management products.

NB. If you do not have a learning management system, we provide our own administration console for creating student logins, viewing results etc.
